An element often associated with Margaritas and in other recipes adds an excellent twist to your cocktail. Not limited solely to salt, instead use the same technique with sugar or crushed candies to complement your cocktail flavours.
- Start with a small saucer or shallow bowl of water, lime juice or lemon juice. Alternatively, cut a lime or lemon wedge and moisten the rim
2. Evenly dip the rim and rotate it through the salt, coating the outer lip
3. If required, use a moistened napkin or towel to clean up the lines
