Simple syrup, or sugar syrup, is a basic sugar and water syrup often used as a sweetener in cocktails. Infused simple syrups can add not only sweetness but also depth of flavour to various cocktails.
This recipe shows how to infuse simple syrup with lavender and thyme which can then be used in our sparkling lavender-thyme vodka lemonade.
